If you’ve worked in travel for any length of time, you’ll know how easy it is for information to end up scattered across different places.

We’ve listened to that feedback from agents over the past year, and it’s one of the reasons we’ve launched the new SHG Agent Hub.

The aim is simple.

Save agents time and make it easier to work with our brands.

The new Agent Hub provides a single place where agents can access information across all three of our brands:

Instead of moving between different websites, emails and folders, agents can now find key resources in one location.

We’ve tried to organise everything in a way that feels intuitive and easy to navigate.

Not because technology is exciting. Most people don’t care about technology for its own sake.

One thing we’ve learned from speaking with agents is that time is often their most valuable resource.

Customers expect quick answers.

Enquiries arrive throughout the day.

There’s always another task waiting.

When you’re busy helping customers, nobody wants to spend ten minutes searching for a brochure or hunting through old emails to find the latest offer.

That’s why practicality became the guiding principle behind the Agent Hub.

We didn’t start by asking what features we could add.

We started by asking what agents actually need.

In many cases, the answer was surprisingly straightforward.

Make information easier to find.

Make marketing materials easier to access.

Make updates easier to keep track of.

So that’s what we’ve focused on.

Alongside offers and product information, the Agent Hub also includes a growing collection of marketing content that agents can use straight away.

Supporting Our Trade Partners

The launch of the Agent Hub forms part of our wider commitment to supporting travel agents across the UK and Ireland.

Over the past year we’ve expanded our trade partnerships team, increased face-to-face engagement, introduced more training opportunities and strengthened support across all three brands.

The Agent Hub is another step in that journey.

As Jorge Quibell, Head of Trade Partnerships at Specialist Holidays Group, explains:

“Our focus over the last few months has been to ensure that our much-loved brands are front of mind with our existing and new trade partners. This new Agent Hub does just that.”

He added:

“We understand there are huge demands on agents nowadays, and we are very aware that they have to make their time count. That’s why we have concentrated on making the Hub practical and useful.”

That thinking shaped every decision we made during development.

Looking Ahead

This isn’t a finished project.

In many ways, it’s just the beginning.

We’ll continue adding new content, updating resources and refining the platform based on agent feedback.

The best ideas often come from the people using a tool every day.

If something can be improved, we want to hear about it.

For now, we’re pleased to offer a single destination where agents can access the information, support and resources they need to sell American Holidays, Citalia and Sovereign more effectively.

Because ultimately, the easier we can make things for our trade partners, the more time they can spend doing what they do best.
